A terrific annual tradition from the Coffee Company

Every year, the Coffee Company crew convenes to craft an exceptional seasonal blend from some of the year’s best single-origin coffees. I look at it as something akin to a musical supergroup, in which each member has made great solo stuff but gets together with a handful of other top players for fun, to produce music they couldn’t create on their own. The coming together isn’t permanent—it’s a special short-term collaboration that creates some really cool outcomes!

This year’s 2026 Holiday Blend features beans from three of our longtime partners: Daterra Farm in Brazil, Hacienda Miramonte in Costa Rica, and the Apo-Angra Co-op in Papua New Guinea. The team at the Coffee Company says, “These beans balance each other perfectly. We get flavors of toasted nuts and caramel, along with a silky smooth, rich texture. Comfort and joy in a cup!”

As always, I encourage you to come by the Coffee Company and try the Holiday Blend in different brew methods—each one yields its own unique flavor and character. I like it best from a siphon pot, which seems to bring out the round dark chocolate flavors, and also as a Chemex, which calls up more of maybe an apricot or nectarine stone fruit.

The Holiday Blend is always designed to appeal to both serious coffee aficionados and those who are new arrivals to the specialty coffee scene, and this year’s edition is no exception. A bag makes a great gift—it’s a wonderful way to send a taste of Zingerman’s to a coffee-loving loved one or colleague, and it makes a beautiful addition to gift baskets. Enjoy it now while it lasts!
